Empowering Women Through Outdoor Skills and Connection

TXL Events proudly partners with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) to coordinate the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) program—an immersive weekend designed to help women gain confidence and independence in the outdoors.

Held at scenic locations like Camp Aranzazu in Rockport and Camp El Tesoro in Granbury, BOW brings together women from all walks of life to learn hands-on skills such as archery, fishing, kayaking, outdoor cooking, shooting sports, camping, hunting safety, and nature photography. Each class is taught by passionate instructors and professionals who provide a supportive, encouraging environment for every participant—no experience required.

Under TXL Events’ leadership, the program emphasizes education, empowerment, and community. Every detail—from registration and class assignments to logistics, volunteer coordination, and onsite execution—is managed with care to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience.

Recent BOW events have drawn record participation, fostered lifelong friendships, and inspired women to explore new hobbies and outdoor adventures. Whether attending for personal growth, skill-building, or simply to enjoy a weekend outdoors, participants leave BOW feeling stronger, more confident, and deeply connected to nature—and to one another.
